The activities of the Industrial Projects department include carrying out (multi)disciplinary projects, from pre-study through turnkey implementation. The Lead Engineer Piping is responsible for a functional part of a project and works within project teams on assignments of varied scope for a diversity of clients, mainly in the petrochemical, paper, processing and food industries within Europe.
The Lead Engineer Piping is responsible for:
- the basic and / or detailed engineering of the project
- organisational and technical implementation of the assigned activities
- carrying out the project within the established timeframe and budget
- the quality of the work delivered
- making budgets for proposals relating to the design or modifications
In order to successfully fulfil this role, we expect:
- relevant technical Higher Vocational Education, or HVE working and thinking level achieved through experience
- proven experience in a technical environment and a feeling for the piping discipline
- knowledge of relevant norms and regulations
- knowledge of related professional disciplines
- experience with carrying out technical projects
- experience with (2D / 3D) drawing packages
- good communication skills.
