Lead Designer Mechanical Engineering


As lead designer within the Mechanical Engineering department, you will work with internal and external clients in order to produce an optimal technical design. You will do this within a wide variety of market segments including the offshore, automotive, specialised mechanical engineering, fairground attractions and food industries.

The activities include:
  • Fulfilling a dynamic key role.
  • Acting as the intermediary between the client and VIRO engineering.
  • Taking initiatives relative to the developments in your field of speciality.
  • Looking for the best technical solution for the applications
We therefore ask:
  • Higher Vocational Education/Technological University (Mech. Eng.) working and thinking skills.
  • Several years’ experience as a Lead Engineer in general mechanical engineering are required.
  • Appreciation for costs and quality.
  • Independence, methodical approach and the ability to work within a team.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, NX).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
