We are looking for Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineers with a feeling for one of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering, machinery construction and/or product development. The engineer is typified as someone who thinks along, can work independently while still remaining an integral part of the company's team spirit. Finally, you have the right ambitions to develop yourself within the discipline and you don’t feel limited in expressing your ideas.

Personal characteristics include:
  • In consultation with the client, you specify and design (together with the team members) mechatronic end products.
  • You establish a machine outline and elaborate it, either on your own or with (external) manufacturers, into a documentation package suitable for (serial) production. You also carry out the product design and the detailed design. For each project, it is possible to supervise the component manufacture and the prototype assembly.
  • Feasibility, (serial) assemblability, quality insurance and reliability of the product design are of crucial importance. To this end, you ensure various analyses, calculations and controls.
  • You constantly consult with clients, suppliers, internal and external partners and, of course, with the (external) manufacturers in your project, of which you are the coordinator.
Skills:
  • You are a driven technician of Technological University Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics with knowledge of statically-determined construction and dynamic behaviour of constructions and powering technology, preferably in serially-produced mechatronic products.
  • Within the multidisciplinary design teams, you are the person who can think conceptually
  • Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you are able to transmit your knowledge to your colleagues and provide them with technical inspiration
  • Furthermore, you maintain external contacts in a professional manner with clients and suppliers, among others.
  • You see systematic and cost-conscious design as a challenge.
  • You have a feeling for the electrical and software disciplines in mechatronic products
  • Knowledge of production techniques is preferred.
  • You are representative of VIRO engineering.
  • Independence, methodical approach and the ability to work within a team.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Master working and thinking level
  • Experience with / feeling for one or several of the disciplines.
  • Preference for applicants who have experience with 2/3D CAD software, including NX, Pro-E, Catia, Autocad, Solid Edge
