Industrial Automation Programmer

As an Industrial Automation Programmer, you build industrial automation software based on functional and technical software designs. You have knowledge of PLC and HMI systems and are able to commission simple control installations for (end) clients. The activities include: Programming control software for mechanical engineering and processing installations, under the guidance of a lead engineer or project manager. Commissioning control installations at (end) client sites or performing modifications in the control software of existing installations. We therefore ask: Education at Technical College level (specialised in industrial automation or control technology) or equivalent level. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the discipline. Flexible work attitude. Knowledge of at least one relevant PLC system. The knowledge of modern programming languages such as VB, C++ or C# (.NET) is a plus. Basic knowledge in electrical engineering and the willingness to commission control installations. Team player with multidisciplinary attitude. Fluency in the Dutch language with experience with the German and/or English language(s).
