Electrical Engineer

The Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (EI&A) department provides appropriate designs and advice in the field of electro-technical and control systems for national and international industrial clients. Due to the expansion of activities at our client ASML in Veldhoven, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and enterprising engineer who can start immediately. Job description: Coordinating projects relating to electro-technical aspects of lithographic machines in the Electrical Development (EDEV) department in Veldhoven. Identifying opportunities and expanding activities on current projects. These activities could relate to cable routing, cable layout and electrical construction work. This also entails power supply, leads, EMC, sensors, fibres (including glass fibres), cooling, cabling, mains distribution, electrical safety, diagnosis and electrical cooling. Regularly participating in training sessions or workshops on location in Veldhoven. Acting as coordinator and contact person for both VIRO engineering and ASML in Veldhoven. Initially, the primary focus will be on Veldhoven. Candidate profile: Completed a higher technical college or university programme in electro-technical engineering or equivalent Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in a technical environment Prepared to travel regularly. This is in connection with the expansion of the work in Veldhoven and the coordination and transfer of available knowledge from our VIRO branch in Hengelo (Overijssel). Initially, work will be primarily in Veldhoven with regular visits to the VIRO offices in Hengelo (on average 1 day per week or fortnight). The job could also involve visiting other VIRO locations.
