Lead Engineer FEM Analysis

As Lead Engineer FEM Analysis, you will work together with internal and external clients in order to achieve an optimal technical design. You will do this within a wide variety of market segments including chemistry, petrochemistry, offshore, automotive, specialised mechanical engineering, fairground attractions and food industry. Where When necessary, you use the Finite Elements Method in order to demonstrate that the concept fulfils the established requirements using linear, nonlinear, dynamic or thermal analyses. The activities include: You work independently during the course of the project and are responsible for both the contents of your projects and for managing the costs and technical planning aspects of your projects. Furthermore, you actively maintain your client contacts and build up your own client network. Based on the client requirements, you determine the required activities and establish the related project budget and proposal. During the project, you provide the required analytical justification in order to ensure the agreed functionality and integrity of a construction. You will mainly work as project manager or Lead Engineer. Simply put, a challenging position with lots of independence and responsibility within an experienced and enthusiastic team. We therefore ask: A Higher Vocational Education at least, specialised in mechanical engineering, or equivalent level. A combination of a practical attitude and strong analytical characteristics. Very broad experience in the field. Knowledge of at least one FEM package, preferably Femap, NX Advanced Simulation or Ansys. Broad experience in working with norms and guidelines in mechanical engineering. Flexible and proactive work attitude. Excellent communication skills.
