Have you just graduated and are you looking for a challenging position? Then a traineeship within the Engineering Analysis department is certainly something you would enjoy. As a trainee within Engineering Analysis, you will be trained in the area of validation and design calculations.
The activities include:
- Making FEM models.
- Carrying out analyses in the broadest sense of the term.
- Assessing the results.
- Looking for the best technical solution.
In order to carry out these activities, you will start out on an intensive training programme. You will learn one CAE package, working with norms and guidelines, translating the reality to a model and interpreting and assessing the results, among others. You will also acquire constructive knowledge and experience at the Mechanical Engineering department and learn a CAD package for a few months.
Within Engineering Analysis, you may grow further into the functions of Junior Engineer, Engineer and Senior Engineer. Within these roles, you will build up and maintain your client network, translate the clients’ questions into a project plan, a cost calculation and a proposal, and carry out the work (or have it carried out). This is done within the fields of petrochemistry, oil and gas, automotive, offshore and mechanical engineering.
We therefore ask:
- Higher Vocational Education+/Technological University working and thinking skills.
- Preferably, knowledge of at least one FEM package, preferably Femap, Hypermesh, NX Advanced Simulation or Ansys.
- A combination of a practical attitude and strong analytical characteristics.
- Flexible and proactive work attitude.
- Fluency in Dutch, spoken and written.
- Fluency in English and/or German, both spoken and written, is preferred.
