Hazards lurk in all industrial processes and production devices. Risk assessment methodologies are available in order to identify, assess and reduce these risks. By applying these methods within the design, construction and operational management of a process or production device, the potential hazards are reduced to a manageable and acceptable level of risk. Within the Safety and Inspection department, VIRO engineering disposes of experienced and well-educated people, including a higher safety expert. In collaboration with the client, they ensure a safe project and a safe process or production device. This guarantees that the applicable guidelines and norms are satisfied in terms of safety, health and environment. Safety in the design A safe process or production device begins with a safe design. While designing, we take great care of analysing the potential risks in the process or production device.

Inspections
